Mo Willems’s Gerald and Piggie books are legendary for their humor, moral wisdom, and tender, madcap zaniness. One of my favorites is Waiting is Hard, as Piggy has a surprise for Gerald, but the catch is that Gerald has to wait for it. Other favorites of mine are Today I will Fly, There is a Bird on Your Head, We are in a Book, Should I Share My Ice Cream, and I am a Frog. Enjoy!
