Here I will give handprint sketches of the most important thinkers, educators and contributors to our understanding of children, childhood, teaching, learning, nature and culture. I focus on how these teachers open up the way we understand children, and the guidance these teachers give in how best to usher children into the world. These teachers are our elders and we would do well to follow in their footsteps.
